Does St. Louis have a bus system? ›

MCT provides the community with numerous public bus routes, a Paratransit service for the disabled and elderly, bikeway development, as well as overseeing RideFinders, the St. Louis regional rideshare program.

Hours of operation vary by route, but depending on your stop, you can usually catch buses in Dublin as early as 5am and as late as 12am.

MoDOT's Transit Section provides financial and technical assistance to public transit and specialized mobility providers statewide. We administer state and federal programs related to general public transportation and specific transit programs for agencies serving senior citizens and/or persons with disabilities.

Metro Transit is an enterprise of the Bi-State Development Agency and operates public transportation services in the St. Louis region. In 2023, the system had an annual ridership of 19,528,200, or about 57,500 per weekday as of the first quarter of 2024.

The 16 bus operates between 06:00 - 23:30 Monday to Saturday, and 08:00 -23:30 on Sundays. The 41 bus runs 24/7 every day including weekends.

The new routes S2, S4, S6, S8, W2, L25, L55 and 74 will replace routes 17, 18, 61, 75/a, 76/a and 175.
