I wish I had some pictures to post but that will have to wait for the coming weekend. As I sit here in the office this morning, waiting for the coffee pot to signal "ready," my mind is a world away and focused on our week at the beach which begins this Saturday. Unlike our trip down in August I have no "pile" on the dining room table this time and have decided we will buy most of what we need..food, etc., after arrival. We'll have house of 9 folks on Thanksgiving Day which is something to look forward to. Hopefully the weather wil be as pleasant as last year when we ran around in shorts most of the time. I wish it were all starting today!!! Happy thoughts and warm good wishes for all who post here.

We are getting ready for a Thanksgiving trip as well. Like you I am not frantically staging all of our stuff before we leave. It will just be my four - husband and two kids - and then my husband's parents are flying in to meet us for the week. We are staying in a friend's house in Southern Shores. Can't wait - just have get some work done ths week. We are ordering Thanksgiving dinner from Coastal Provisions. Oh, and we are packing some wine. Other than that, we are very relaxed about this trip. Most looking forward to walks on the beach with my 11 year old daughter. )

#122? I call it "fish from the deck".It's as far out in the ocean as they get! You will have 200° of ocean view there, make sure the hot tub is open.Whoops - that one is not rented next week. #383 is also called Pelican Perch (this is why we never use cottage names) but I see someone from Va rented it - is that your group? It's rented this week but I will see if I can pull a string or two to get you in early.

Hi, Tim...yes, that's the one. I just talked to someone in the office who told me it is rented this week and as deeply as I appreciate your offer, no problem with getting in early. We will plan to arrive around 4PM and go with the flow.

Ish - Were you in Chicago today? You are in my neck of the woods if you are. We had a lot of snow flurries last night and this morning. It felt like it should have been Christmas and not thanksgiving time.
